Peter Barber is an Eagle Creek Wealth Management SVP, Financial Advisor in our Huntsville office. Beginning his career in 1984, he served as First Vice President/Financial Advisor with Smith Barney and its predecessors. After that, he spent 10 years as an SVP, Financial Advisor at Progress Financial Services. His clients are institutions, professionals, businesses and business owners, non-profit organizations and foundations, families and individual investors. He received his education at Marion Military Institute, Washington and Lee University and The University of Alabama and served from 1964 to 1970 with the 117th Tactical Reconnaissance Wing of the Alabama Air National Guard.
He is very involved in the community having served over the years on local, state and federal boards including the Huntsville Museum of Art, Huntsville Hospital Foundation, Randolph School Board of Trustees, Alabama State Council on the Arts and the Regional Appeals Board of The Selective Service System. He is an active member of The Church of the Nativity (Episcopal) and has a grown daughter and four grandchildren.
